Designed specifically for individuals taking prescription drug(s) and have been advised not to take a multivitamin/mineral and to avoid certain foods because of the potential for a drug-nutrient or drug-food interaction.
Iron, iodine, vitamin K and high amounts of vitamin E are the most common nutrients in supplements and foods that interfere with drug absorption and/or drug function in the physiology. Food Multi II, a 100% whole food formula, was crafted specifically without these nutrients and with an acceptable level of vitamin E. No herbs were included as they may also interact with, or alter drug function. The inclusion of additional foods rich in protective and nourishing compounds, yet low in vitamin K, iron and iodine, provide additional nourishment to support optimal health.
