| Mayiah originates from the Greek language and means "magic." It first made its appearance over 100 years ago in a small village in Greece. The women in this particular village didn't have access to medication, so they had to use the land for healing purposes. They found that one of the remedies for skin disorders was a combination of olive oil and a balm herb that only grows in a remote part of Greece. At the time, this combination was known to heal cuts, burns, and a number of infections and fungi found on the skin. By word of mouth, this miracle "cure" slowly seeped into the community, and for many generations, was known to help individuals with skin disorders.
