Mangosteen has a number of compounds, the most prominent being xanthones. Some of these xanthones include mangostin, mangostenol, mangostenone A, mangostenone B, trapezifolixanthone, tovophyllin B, alpha- and beta-mangostins, garcinone B, mangostinone, mangostanol, and the flavonoid epicatechin.
Suggested use: As a dietary supplement, take one or 2 mangosteen capsule daily or as recommended by your health care provider.
